Taken Too Soon: Death of Richard Ripper

It was a cloudy, dark evening last night in Los Santos. The darkness grew after the news of the brutal murder of Dr. Richard Ripper. He was seen briefly at Pillbox Hill Medical in good spirits but a short time after, EMS and LSPD received a sudden panic button alert from one of its own.

Officers Frank Stone and Juuzou Suzuya were on scene first and found the body of Richie Ripper who was brutally murdered off the road of Route 68. Multiple shotgun wounds to Ripper’s body quite literally “ripped” him apart. With this murder still under investigation, Weazel News was unable to confirm any more details.

After speaking with Director Lola Thompson she shared her thoughts on the situation:

It happened so fast. We saw Richie at the hospital one minute as we were treating a patient and then less than 20 minutes later we were all startled by a panic button alert. Myself and Dr. Jeffery King immediately responded but when we arrived on scene….we were horrified at what we saw. I still can’t get the image out of my head…I don’t think I ever will.

Director of Pillbox, Lola Thompson

Richie Ripper was known to the city as a knowledgeable Doctor always willing to give a lending hand when needed. His dedication to his practice showed through the hours of work he put in and his continuous mentoring of the Pillbox Medical staff. Ripper was always cunning and made the citizens of Los Santos laugh with his witty remarks. No doubt that his presence will be missed not only in the hospital but around the city.

We caught up with one of the officers on scene, Frank Stone, and asked how this would impact the city. He commented about Ripper,

“One of the most amazing EMS I have ever met. The man’s banter also was 10/10 he will be truly missed.”

Mr. Ripper leaves behind his wife, Natalie Ripper as well as a brother, Billy Ripper. Weazel News sends its deepest sympathies to the friends and family members of Richard Ripper. Details about Richard Ripper’s funeral will be posted at a later date. May he rest in peace.
