Police Officers have a duty to protect and serve our community and through many of the insults and allegations swung towards them not many of them stick. This could be due to minimal evidence, a mistake made on the job or simply a blatant lie of a testimony. However, recently an LSPD Officer was pointed out to Weazel News as crooked. Weazel News prides itself with their investigative journalistic work to provide the truth to our readers. All evidence submitted to Weazel News was forwarded to the LSPD Human Resources department for their own internal review.
Los Santos Police Department Officer Frank Stone is a well respected gentleman. With gorgeous dirty blonde slicked back locks and a fine mustache that would make any 70s cop jealous, Frank is truly an idol to many.
But to some, he’s a menace.
In an interview with Pink Cage Motel resident Jack Sparrow, he began to tell a story regarding a falsely submitted warrant for his arrest. As he began to speak of this warrant, an LSPD marked Dodge Charger pulled up onto the road near the interview and parked. Exiting that Dodge Charger was Frank Stone, who immediately interrupted the interview. When Weazel News Reported Felix Frost asked Frank Stone how he felt about him being accused as crooked, Frank’s response?

He made swift movements towards his Dodge Charger, entered into the vehicle and drove off before fully closing the door. This was a deeply concerning and scary instance for aforementioned Jack Sparrow. As someone who felt he was personally terrorized by Frank Stone himself, it was terrifying to finally be able to speak out against his oppressors, only for him oppressor to show up and interrupt the interview.
Jack Sparrow was issued a warrant for First Degree Attempted Murder and Felony Evasion. He was pulled out of his vehicle, handcuffed and threw him against the wall and threatened to crush his Bati 801 sports bike. After further investigation, the Officers had realized the warrant was made mistakenly and released Jack Sparrow without an apology or compensation. Jack Sparrow made no comment on whether or not he planned to pursue legal action.
During the interview with Jack Sparrow, a Weazel News helicopter was scanning the area for events or criminal activity. In effort to find crime, the Weazel News helicopter used it’s state of the art object tracking system within the helicopter’s news camera to follow an LSPD Dodge Charger. Almost immediately crime was found, but not in the place you might expect. Our helicopter observed this LSPD Dodge Charger run through multiple red lights with no visible vehicle lights flashing or sirens.
It seems quite hypocritical that an officer of the law would find it okay to run two red lights, endangering the lives of nearby civilians and other vehicles on the road, just to interrupt an interview about him breaking the law.
Our investigative team here at Weazel News decided to dig into these allegations further by looking to you, the community. In an interview with a Lawrence Dauterive, he expressed his displeasure with Officer Frank Stone’s conduct. Lawrence Dauterive who has had “several run ins” with Frank Stone, which he claims are usually “back and forth” on how positive those interactions are. When asked about allegations of corruption against Frank Stone, Lawrence claimed corruption happens “all the time”
Breaking the law? Oh. The Officers do that all the time, they run all these red lights. They go wee-woo just to go past them…They all speed, they all wreck their cars. I have no idea how he [Frank Stone] has his drivers license. And that’s on me being a mechanic, fixing them constantly.

Lawrence further explained how Officer Frank Stone got into an accident with Lawrence and totaled his work-issued tow truck. Lawrence claimed Frank Stone attempted to bribe him by offering $2,000, stating that Frank Stone purposefully wrecked his vehicle. Lawrence additionally claimed that a few minutes before the interview with Weazel News that Frank Stone approached him outside Pillbox Medical with a standard issue Stungun and threatened to discharge it against Lawrence.
I was just dancing outside Pillbox, living my best life, and he hopped out of his car and pointed his tazer at me and threatened me.

Lawrence finalized his statements claiming, once again, that the LSPD are corrupt and that “they are a gang”. Immediately after making that statement we were ushered off the sidewalk in front of Pillbox by Officer Andrew James while being threatened for loitering.
The allegations against Officer Frank Stone are deeply concerning, the LSPD has had multiple complaints of improper conduct dating back to Operation StrikeBack. As of publishing, Officer Frank Stone is still employed with the Los Santos Police Department. Many prominent members of the community are calling for changes within Los Santos Police Department Policy that allows Officers to openly commit traffic violations.
