Chizzy Banks a known member of the Banks Brothers Family was sentenced to 122 months of prison time.
The accused faced charges today for the robbery of Vangelico’s Jewelry Store in Rockford Hills, Los Santos. The charges included kidnapping, robbery, second degree attempted murder, and evading a police officer. A large scale shootout occurred after several individuals attempted to rob the jewelry store. LSPD Officers arrived on the scene and eventually were able to take down the robbers, one individual was confirmed to be Chizzy Banks.
After Mr. Banks and several of his accomplices were taken to Pillbox Medical for treatment, he and many of his fellow robbers were able to stage an escape. A warrant was placed for Chizzy Banks arrest soon after.
The trial started off hot as the Defendant’s lawyer, Harvey Spector, attacked the Prosecutions’ evidence and claims against his client. The burden of proof was definitely placed on State Trooper Jordan Jones as he led this investigation. Trooper Jones presented body camera evidence that was submitted by himself and his fellow officer, Sargeant Bubba Buckberry. The evidence clearly showed the Defendant at the scene of the crime after being shot down by LSPD officers.
Many witnesses were called to the stand one of which, Ms. Lola Thompson, the Director of Pillbox Medical. Ms. Thompson was the only EMS to arrive on scene that night after the shootout at the attempted jewelry store robbery. A slew of questions were thrown at Ms. Thompson by both Mr. Spector as well as Trooper Jones in an attempt to confirm if Mr. Chizzy Banks was indeed one of the assailants that night.
As Judge Freddy Williams delivered his guilty verdict decision, the Banks Family up roared in disagreement. As police moved to arrest the Defendant, Mr. Banks made an attempted to flee the courtroom to avoid his charges. With a valiant effort, Mr. Banks made it to the lobby of the courthouse before being tazed by LSPD officers and being placed in handcuffs.
