Looking for the amount of time it takes a player who has committed a crime and loses certain legal privileges, to have that charge expunged.
Is there a formula?
Incident = XDAYS
misdemeanor =XDAYS
Felony =XDAYS
Basis for the questions.
Players that want to RP leaving a criminal life and want to get their life together to better their lives, get a job, or start a family are requesting that certain crimes be removed from their record, and are looking for a rehabilitative or pathway out of crime life.
Can we offer them a second chance program if they are crime free for X days/weeks and complete x y z to earn having their charges dropped, reduced, or expunged?
A new character is an option, but who doesn't enjoy a comeback story, or an underdog......
Optionally Lawyers could do checks, institute parole or probation officers, drug treatment and addiction counselors etc....
I would be happy to lead the in game oversight of each enrollment, but would need LEO to know when the lawyer requesting charges be changed and file the proof of completion, they can adjust the charges
I know everyone is genuinely happy in their role and change is not taken well when presented by unknown members, but interaction with both police and civil, i have had a chance to get the communities opinion in many areas and they all seem to agree on things that could be better and the things that make the city great.
Again not attacking staff or anyone for any particular issue, just taking a minute to share my thoughts and opinions gathered from the majority of the server.
